Where books land
Under Server → Library, Folder for each book decides where a finished book goes in the library. By default:
Brandon Sanderson/The Stormlight Archive/1 - The Way of Kings [B003P2WO5E]/The Way of Kings [B003P2WO5E].m4bAndy Weir/Project Hail Mary [B08G9PRS1K]/Project Hail Mary [B08G9PRS1K].m4bThat’s Author / Series / Number - Title [ASIN], with the series folder left out for standalone books. Audiobookshelf’s scanner reads the author, series, position and ASIN straight from it.

The template uses Libation’s naming syntax, so if your library was laid out by Libation you can copy its template across. The preview below the field shows two real books as you type, with the file extension and chapter names your download settings will produce. Save only lights up when the template is valid.
Two rules:
<id>(the ASIN) must be in the last folder. It’s how Audiobookshelf matches the book to Audible exactly and how Armarium finds it again.- Only new books follow a change. Books already on the shelf stay where they are.
The audio file itself is always named Title [ASIN], plus - 01 - Chapter for chapter files.
The full list of tags and conditionals is in the template reference.
